Radha Vallabha Temple - Vrindavan

Harivamsa Gosvami founded Radha Vallabha temple in Vrindavan and it is considered as one among the popular temples in Vrindavana. Established by the Radha-Vallabh sampradaya, this temple aims to nurture better devotion towards Radharani. As per Hindu Mythology, Radha’s association with Lord Krishna signifies the epitome of supreme love and the temple aims to preserve this cardinal principle of divinity.

Though the temple give predominance to Radharani, there is no idol of this beloved consort of Lord Krishna here and instead of that a crown is placed near to Lord’s Idol. The Muslims destroyed the original temple of Radha Vallabha in 1670 and a new temple was constructed adjacent to the previous one.
